Biography

Current job: 

Ph.D. Student at the University of Edinburgh

Research Interests

Waad is interested in several areas including RNA interference, nuclear organization, and understanding how chromatin structure affects genome stability. She is currently working on generating a stable HepG2/HeLa cell line with shRNAs against hDICER1 and hAgo1 to investigate their function within the nucleus.
