Research Interests

In mammals, maintenance of systemic circadian homeostasis and the response to diverse environmental cues require the coordination of functional clocks in peripheral organs. Identification of communicating signals between different peripheral organs and characterization underlying mechanism how these signals orchestrate transcriptional regulation in specific tissue remains unresolved. We will focus following two directions:

1) How repetitive RNA modulates circadian manner of transcriptional activity and cyclic control of metabolite homeostasis.

2) Identification of communicating signals and characterization of their contribution in orchestrating inter-organ circadian networks.
